Scope

This policy applies to our public website, private-access conversations, and account or integration surfaces we operate. It does not govern a third-party product, service, or website that has its own privacy notice.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Tempera, we may collect:

  • contact and professional information you provide, such as your name, work email, company, and message;
  • account, workspace, and access-request information needed to provide private access;
  • technical and security information, such as IP address, browser or device details, request logs, and session identifiers; and
  • information you choose to provide while requesting support, an evaluation, or an integration.

Please do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card data, or other highly sensitive information to us by email unless we have provided a secure, agreed method for doing so.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate and secure our services, respond to requests, provide private access and support, communicate about an existing relationship, meet legal obligations, and prevent fraud or misuse.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate our website and services, to professional advisers where necessary, when required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and similar technology

Our website uses essential cookies and local browser storage to remember choices such as language and theme, and to support authenticated sessions where private access is available. You can control browser storage through your browser settings; disabling essential technology may prevent some functionality from working.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. You may also opt out of non-essential communications. To make a request, contact us at founders@tempera.dev. We may need to verify your request before responding.

California privacy notice

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service for exercising those rights. Tempera does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Submit a request using the contact details below. An authorized agent may submit a request with evidence of authorization, and we may verify the request before acting on it.

Children

Tempera is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted here with its updated date. Questions or requests can be sent to founders@tempera.dev.
